The lock comes with instructions to set your personal 3-digit combination. Typically, you'll open the lock to its default (usually 000), press a reset button/lever, set your new code, and then release the button/lever.
While this 3-Digit Zipper Lock provides excellent security for personal items, it is not a TSA-approved lock. For air travel, especially to the USA, a TSA-approved lock is recommended if you want airport security to be able to open it without damage.
This lock is designed for general use and offers basic resistance to splashes. It is not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in water.
Unfortunately, if you forget your 3-digit combination, there is no master key or override function. It is crucial to remember your chosen code or keep it in a secure, memorable place.
